Josh David Hawley, an American politician and lawyer, was born on December 31, 1979, in Springdale, Arkansas. Josh Hawley graduated from Yale Law School and Stanford University in 2002. (2006).

Josh Hawley has represented Missouri as a junior senator since 2019. Before entering politics, Josh Hawley served as Missouri’s 42nd attorney general from 2017 until 2019.

He ran for office using the Republican party’s slate. In the 2018 elections, he prevailed over Democratic incumbent Senator Claire McCaskill, who had previously served two terms.

Since their union in 2010, Josh Hawley and Erin Morrow have been blessed with three children (Elijah, Blaise, and Abigail).

In December 2020, Hawley provoked a political backlash when he became the first senator to announce plans to object to the certification of Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 United States presidential election.

Hawley led Senate efforts to overturn the Electoral College vote count and rallied supporters of the Stop the steal conspiracy theory that motivated an attack on the U.S. Capitol, with figures across the political spectrum calling on him to resign or be expelled from the Senate.
